Dedicate more time to your swimwear
Swimwear needs special attention so it stays impeccable from one year to the next.
1. Never wash bikinis, swimsuits or swim shorts in the washing machine as it damages their elasticity and the colours start fading.
2. When you get back from the beach or the pool, soak your swimwear in cold water for 30 minutes, then wash carefully with neutral pH detergent.
3. Avoid ringing garments with elastic fibres as this will damage them. Instead, gently press down on the swimsuit to remove any excess water.
4. Hang out to dry. Avoid using pegs that will leave a mark and damage your swimwear.
5. When putting your swimsuit away for next year, untie all the straps to ensure elastic fibres are preserved.
