How to care for your Knitted Garments
We recommend washing them only when absolutely needed. After use, leave the garment to air for a few hours to eliminate any odours.
1. More delicate items should be hand washed at low temperatures. When washing by hand, place them in soapy water, making circular movements. Don't rinse or rub. Don't wring the garment. Simply squeeze it to remove as much water as possible without damaging the fibres or stretching it.
2. Place the garment on a flat surface to dry. Don't hang it on hangers so it keeps its shape. Don't place it in the tumble dryer as the different temperature can cause it to shrink. Let it dry out in the open air, in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight which can make it turn yellow.
Care & Maintenance
1. Avoid ironing the garment. If so, place a cloth between the iron and the garment and press down lightly with the iron. Avoid using gliding movements with the iron over the garment to guarantee that it keeps its shape.
2. Fold the garment and put it away where it won't lose its shape. More delicate knitted garments should be stored away in a fabric bag to protect its fibres. Don’t hang knitted garments!
3. If knitted garments start piling, carefully remove with a blade (use a shaving blade) to guarantee that they keep their quality and look.
