We continue to choose natural fibres, such as cotton and organic cotton, when producing our garments. The MOre collection uses 100% sustainable raw materials with low social and environmental impact throughout the whole production process.
Cotton
Cotton is a natural fibre and, therefore, biodegradable. It absorbs moistures, is soft, comfortable, and resistant to wear and tear and repeated washing. However, growing cotton requires a lot of water, and the chemical products used affect the soil and have impact on the farmers. For this reason, we have been using more and more sustainably-grown cotton in our clothes.
Recycled
Cotton
Recycled cotton from textile waste and worn garments is used to produce new fabric. The reuse of cotton fibres is eco-friendly as it prevents cotton waste from ending up in landfills.
Organic
Cotton
Organic cotton seeds are free from genetically modified organisms (GMO) and only natural fertilisers are used. It is, therefore, more sustainable, with reduced impact on the soil, on biodiversity, and on the lives of farmers. We use organic cotton in our garments for a more sustainable journey in the world of fashion.
Lenzing™
Ecovero™
A sustainable viscose fibre obtained from sustainable, controlled forests. It is produced in compliance with a rigorous eco-responsible, transparent process, with low carbon emissions and reduced environmental impact, certified with the EU Ecolabel.
We use this raw material in our MOre collection and also in the Maternity line, mom by mo.
TENCEL® Lyocell
Tencel® is a fibre extracted from certified eucalyptus forests, using less water and is free from toxic products. Tencel® fibre is produced in a closed-loop process, which means that nothing goes to waste, especially the water used. Tencel® fabric is resistant, cool, and items are extra soft.
Recycled
Polyester
Polyester is one of the fibres with the greatest recycling potential and the one that loses the least properties, remaining particularly resistant after the recycling process - this is the reason why recycled polyester is used increasingly more in our collections.
